Her writing talent comes from her father, Hameed Akhtar, an innovative Urdu writer who was the leader of the “Progressive Writers’ Movement” for several years. The story film revolves around a 13-year-old Pakistani boy and his Pakistani parents, and the film will show the American life of the 1990s and the conditions of Muslims at that time.
