Based on PTI sources, the long march that will begin on October 28 will end in Islamabad via GT Road, while the long march will continue only during the daytime.

The entire party’s leaders have been informed of possible night-time halts due to the long trek from Lahore could take several days to get to Islamabad.

The task of coordinating the GT Road has been given to the leaders of cities located along this GT Road. Committees at the district and tehsil levels will arrange for participants, and those who are taking part in the long march will also receive transportation amenities and food.

According to the sources, convoys from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan as well as North Punjab will be told the exact date for their arrival at Islamabad on Friday.

According to Asad Umar, the march will reach Azadi Chowk from Liberty Chowk via Ferozepur Road, Achhra, Mazang, as well as Data Darbar. In the meantime, the march will begin the next day with GT Road until Islamabad. However, on the contrary, PTI party members in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa prepared a plan for the long marches.

Workers from Peshawar will depart to head for Islamabad through GT Road, and instructions were issued to workers to stop at Taxila. To be in the vicinity of Islamabad, the city, caravans of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, and Azad Kashmir will hold a dharna near the entrance to and out of the city. MNA and MPA from each district will bring a minimum of 1,000 workers along. Officials from the party have been given the responsibility to stop the roads that lead to Islamabad.

An extended march will be organized by police, 13086, according to sources. Two DIGs and four SSPs, as well as 11 SPs, will be in charge as well as the 30 ASPs, along with DSPs, will be on the ground. A total number of 4190 personnel and officers belonging to Islamabad Police will be appointed. Alongside this, 4265 FC and 3600 Rangers will be deployed, and 1022 personnel and officers from Sindh Police will be deployed.

In all, six hundred sixteen tear gas guns, 50050 rounds, six hundred eleven 12-bore guns, as well as 36700 rounds were supplied for the long march. Three hundred seventy-four vehicles and 2430 masks were also given to the police. A total of 17 paper-ball guns and 4000 paper balls were provided.
